According to a report from The Courier, Deere has announced plans to layoff 35 employees at its Waterloo Works facility (effective Aug. 3) and 82 employees at its Davenport Works facility (effective Aug. 2).

Data from the Iowa Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act shows Davenport Works has lost 252 jobs in the last year, Dubuque Works has lost 264 jobs, and Waterloo has lost 77 jobs.

Deere also announced another employee buyout program last month.
