According to a report from WGLR, over 260 employees from Dubuque Works will be laid off over the next five weeks. A total of 159 employees received notice on April 28 that they'd be placed on indefinite leave starting June 1.
This follows Deere's announcement in February of this year to layoff 105 employees effective April 6; the effective date of those layoffs was pushed until May 4.
