A new survey released by John Deere reports that 2,700 of its machines working in Argentina’s fields were connected to the cloud during the 2019-20 crop season. This doubles the number compared to the previous season. According to the company, 7.4 million acres in South America are connected to Deere’s platform. The application called “JD Operations Center” allows farmers to report problems to a nearby dealership, allowing techs to have direct access to the machine.
