On a regional basis, the most significant shifts in 2018 occurred with AGCO’s South American sales, which declined by 3% compared to the previous year. 

Deere remained the dominant force in North American ag equipment sales, with an estimated 57% of its total equipment business coming from the U.S. and Canada. An estimated 35% of CNH’s ag equipment sales came from North America. The U.S. and Canada accounted for 23% of AGCO’s equipment sales in 2018.
