Despite an extra two weeks of factory shut-down while Covid-secure work practices were put in place, Väderstad still managed to achieve record sales and earnings in 2020, helped by a “significant lift” in sales in Canada.
According to its latest earnings report, Doosan Bobcat saw 2020 sales of $3.6 billion, down 6.2% from $3.9 billion in 2019. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) was $334 million in 2020, an 18.4% decrease from $409 million in 2019. Net profit was also down last year, coming in at $210 million vs. $233 million in 2019.
Consolidated net sales totaled $22,409,000 for the 2020 fiscal year, which represents a 2.1% decrease from consolidated net sales of $22,889,000 for the 2019 fiscal year.
AGCO reported net sales of approximately $2.7 billion for the fourth quarter of 2020, an increase of approximately 8.1% compared to the fourth quarter of 2019.
CNH Industrial reported strong results for the fourth quarter of 2020, with consolidated revenues of $8.5 billion (up 10%) and adjusted EBIT of Industrial Activities of $520 million (up 73%).
The Material Handling & Access Division generated quarterly sales of $331.9 million, down 18% compared with the fourth quarter of 2019 and down 30% over 12 months.
