In view of the current national and global developments in conjunction with the corona pandemic, the DLG (German Agricultural Society) as organizer, the VDMA Agricultural Machinery Association and Agritechnica’s exhibitor advisory board have jointly concluded that the conditions required for hosting the world’s leading agricultural machinery exhibition are no longer fulfilled.

Sneak Peek at AGCO Xaver Autonomous Seeder

A look at the prototype of the medal-winning AGCO Xaver autonomous seeding unit at Agritechnica 2017. The system is programmable, and 12 units are the equivalent of one, 8-row planter. Ten units can plant about 2.5 acres per hour and they will be field tested in 2018, with production tentatively planned for 2020.
