Jost Werke SE, a producer and supplier of safety-critical systems for commercial vehicles based in Neu-Isenburg, Germany, says it has signed a purchase agreement to acquire LH Lift Oy, a company based in Laukaa, Finland, that manufactures and delivers 3-pt. linkages and hitches to OEM tractor manufacturers in Europe, Asia and South America. According to Jost, the product range will expand its portfolio of agricultural products, which are sold under the Quicke and Rockinger brands. The acquisition will complement the Rockinger line of products for agricultural tractors, Jost says.

The German manufacturer expects the integration of LH Lift to create synergies in product research and development as well as sales and purchasing.

“The 3-pt. and pick-up hitch product range from LH Lift is a logical addition to the current Rockinger portfolio,” says Jan Meister, head of sales and marketing for Rockinger. “We will create an even stronger global partner for functional attachment and hitch systems at the rear of the tractor. Additionally, LH Lift products are designed and tested carefully for easy mounting and a long lifespan.”

LH Lift was founded in 1975 and has production sites in Finland and China with about 88 employees.
