U.S. mid-year equipment sales were down for compact and utility tractors but up for row-crop tractors and combines, according to AEM data. Combines had the largest year-over-year increase at 51.5%, while under 40 horsepower tractors had the largest decline at –13%, taking mid-year sales to a 5-year low. Mid-year U.S. row-crop tractor, 4WD tractor and combine sales reached 5-year highs.
