Quality Equipment, a John Deere Ag & Turf dealer group, has purchased the assets of Gay Implement Company in Seaboard, NC. In addition, the Perry Family (owners of Gay Implement) reinvested into Quality Equipment, LLC, becoming one of the business' valued ownership partners. This acquisition was finalized on July 25, 2022 increasing the Quality Equipment organization to 30 retail locations. The addition of the dealership in Seaboard expands service, parts, and sales offerings to customers within northeastern North Carolina and southeastern Virginia. 

Located at 307 S. Main St. in Seaboard, Quality Equipment will continue to serve the needs of the diverse local customer base. With a focus on customer service, Quality Equipment looks forward to meeting the needs of agricultural producers, residential homeowners, contractors, governmental agencies and commercial businesses in the area are previously served by Gay Implement Company. Quality Equipment sells agricultural, residential and compact construction equipment, as well as products from Stihl, Honda Power Equipment, and several other allied brands.
