Power transmission specialist Walterscheid Powertrain Group (WPG) is expanding its portfolio of heavy-duty drive shafts and joints by purchasing IFA-Kardan, a business unit of IFA Group and said to be one of the top 10 suppliers of such components for off-road vehicle applications.
Located in Irxleben, northeast Germany, IFA-Kardan produces a diversified range of prop shafts and different types of joints for the agriculture, construction and special vehicle markets.
