According to a report from ETAuto, Sonalika Tractors saw an increase in its sales last month, reporting 9,177 units sold, up 18.6% from 7,737 units sold in the same month last year. Exports for the month were 1,537 in the month of May, up 25% year-over-year. 

Raman Mittal, executive director, Sonalika Group, said, "With paddy being the major Kharif crop, we are seeing a demand rise for customized tractors which will be able to address these specialized needs. Along with the demand for tractors, the demand for specialized implements is also expected to go up."

The company's plant operations had reached 85% in the last week of May and is expected for reach 100% this month.
