Deere & Company completed its sale of a majority interest in its landscapes business for $300 million, the company announced today.
The majority interest in John Deere Landscapes was sold to the private equity investment firm of Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, according to a press release. Deere & Company retained a 40 percent equity interest in the business.
John Deere Landscapes has more than 2,000 employees at approximately 400 locations in 41 states.
