21st Century Equipment, a Bridgeport, Neb.-based, regional John Deere dealership group, has announced management appointments for its newly-acquired locations.

In October 2013, 21st Century acquired MV Equipment, a John Deere Dealership organization with 5 locations in eastern Colorado.

Brandon Sparks has been appointed the Holyoke, Colo., location manager. Since 2007, he has held parts specialist positions with John Deere dealerships in Sterling, Colo., and Holyoke.

Darrell Nickal, an Akron, Colo., native, is the Sterling location manager. Nickal has worked for John Deere since 1989 and has held prior parts, service and IT positions.

The Yuma, Colo., location manager is Dusty DeLand, a native of nearby Wray, Colo. A 10-year 21st Century employee, DeLand has worked as a service technician in Ogallala, service manager in Alliance and location manager in Akron in the past.

Tim Neitzel, a St. Francis, Kan., native, is the new Burlington, Colo., location manager. He worked in management for Hormel Foods before returning to Kansas to manage the John Deere location in Wheeler, Kan.

Clair Dannen has assumed the Wray and Akron location manager duties. Prior to this assignment, Dannen was the Leoti, Kan. location manager.

With the acquisition of the new locations, 21st Century Equipment has hired new regional managers. Dan Rude, the north region manager, joined 21st Century after working in various management positions for The Victor L. Phillips Company and as sales manager for Vermeer Rocky Mountain.

Gary Dible, the south region manager, ran his own ag services business before joining 21st Century as the Sidney location manager. He previously served as the company’s operations manager.
