AHW recently announced an agreement to purchase three Wright Implement Co. locations in western Indiana in early October.

Chad Braden, chief operating officer for AHW, said details surrounding the purchase are being finalized. Once completed, AHW will assume ownership of the stores located in Crawfordsville, Williamsport and Rockville, Ind.

AHW is an acronym for Arends Hogan Walker, which is the official company name. The company is based in Dwight, Ill.

“The addition of these three locations into the AHW family will bring some new opportunities to serve those communities and customers” Braden said. “Indiana ag professionals will have more resources, more technology and more access to parts inventory than ever before. Combined as one, we believe we are poised to serve those three markets in bigger and better ways. AHW is a premier John Deere dealer and we truly are able to provide ‘Tomorrows Solutions Today’ to our customers.”

Over the past two years, AHW has grown into one of the largest John Deere dealerships in the Midwest. After the acquisition, the company will have a total of 13 locations serving eastern Illinois and western Indiana.

“We also want to acknowledge the Wright family for their service to these communities and the agricultural customers at large for many years” Braden said. “The Wright stores have been great community partners and we thank them for their years of service to customers in the markets they serve. The Wright Implement customers in Crawfordsville, Williamsport and Rockville really won’t see anything different in those stores except for the new AHW signs.

“We have a commitment to provide excellent customer service as well,” he said. “We are pleased to be a part of these communities and look forward to serving them.”

Braden expects the acquisition of the three stores will be finalized within the upcoming week.
