North American large ag equipment sales are off to a good start for 2018. According to the latest numbers released by the Assn. of Equipment Manufacturers, large ag equipment sales were up 4% year-over-year in January, including low double digit growth in Canada and low single digit growth in the U.S.
North American large ag equipment sales declines continued in December, a seasonally important month, according to the latest data released by the Assn. of Equipment Manufacturers, with 4WD tractor sales down 46.5% year-over-year, combine sales down 39.5% and row-crop tractors down 23.8%.
North American large ag equipment retail sales saw mixed results in January, with 4WD tractor sales down 6.9% year-over-year, combine sales up 32.7% and row-crop tractor sales increasing 12%, according to the Assn. of Equipment Manufacturers.
