John Deere dealer AHW announced on Monday, Aug. 22, 2016 the intention to combine the 3 store locations from Cross Brothers Implement with AHW. Chad Braden said the plan to combine the 3 stores into AHW has been finalized, and was approved by John Deere on Friday, Aug. 19, 2016. These stores are located in Mt. Pulaski, Clinton, and New Holland, Ill. The new stores takes AHW's total locations up to 18 in Illinois and Indiana, which includes its corporate headquarters and the AHW Solution Center.
The anticipated closing date is Sept.19, 2016. AHW has indicated that due to timing of the busy fall season, it will be “business as usual” at the three locations. “The biggest difference customers will notice will be the new AHW sign, and access to the AHW Solution Center,” said Braden. More changes will come in the winter of 2017.
“We look forward to serving the customers in these markets,” says Braden. “AHW brings more resources, more access to parts inventory, more new and used equipment choices, and our ‘Solution Center’ for John Deere Precision Ag product support. AHW is poised to serve the area in new ways and we look forward to doing business with these new customers. AHW can provide ‘Tomorrows Solutions Today’ to our customers” he added.
AHW continues to be one of the strongest and best-resourced John Deere implement dealers in Illinois and Indiana. With the addition of these three stores, AHW will have a total of sixteen locations serving central and eastern Illinois, along with western Indiana.
“We also want to acknowledge Tom Cross and the Cross Brothers family for their commitment and service to these communities and customers at large for many years” said Braden. “The Cross Brothers organization has been great community partners and we thank them for their years of service to customers. Look for the same people at the same places you have always trusted for all of your John Deere Product needs in Clinton, Mt. Pulaski and New Holland.”
