In an Aug. 14 note to investors, analysts at RW Baird spoke about their concerns regarding rising new inventory levels and flattening equipment prices and how it might affect publicly traded ag equipment companies’ business. They said they maintain a positive long-term view on AGCO, CNH Industrial and John Deere, but are “incrementally negative on Titan Machinery; we see risks to both volume and margin (used equipment) into calendar year 2024.”
