Fisher Barton Group, of Waukesha, Wis., has acquired an Irish manufacturer of farm tools and equipment to expand Fisher's presence in Europe.
The company says it has purchased Lund Precision Products, of Athlone, Ireland, from U.S. based Lund Precision Group. The Irish company makes tillage tools, harvesting equipment and crop movement equipment.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Founded in 1973, Fisher Barton says it is the largest original equipment manufacturer of lawn mower blades and agricultural knives in the world. The company has seven business units in the United States and Vietnam.
