According to an October interim report from USDA and the Office of the United States Trade Representative, China has purchased approximately 71% of its agricultural product goal for 2020, which was established as part of the U.S.-China trade agreement signed in January.

The report comes to this figure by combining commodity export numbers with sales reported in USDA’s weekly Export Sales Reports, then “proportionally adjusting upward to cover products not included in the weekly reports.”
