According to published reports, Northwood and Evergreen Equipment John Deere dealers have sold their four locations to Midwest Machinery of Glencoe, Minn.

Midwest Machinery has dealerships in Glencoe, Howard Lake, Stewart, St. Cloud, Glenwood, Sauk Centre, Alexandria, Paynesville and Princeton, Minn., and has 220 employees. Northwood and Evergreen Equipment have four locations in Aitkin, Baxter, Little Falls and Pierz and has 60 employees.

Midwest Machinery is a John Deere “Dealer of Tomorrow” and has received the Managers Club award for the past three years. 

The company has built four new facilities during the past five years, remodeled three locations and added warehouse and storage space at other locations. Its locations share John Deere’s “Equip” business system, payroll and accounting processes, and have access to new/used inventory and parts availability. Its headquarters are in Glencoe.

The company reports its sales were $175 million in 2011. Used inventory was $24 million and parts inventory was $7.4 million.
