Ag-Power, a full-line John Deere dealership providing sales, parts and service of agricultural, lawn, garden and commercial products, has announced that it will be adding 40 new jobs to the headquarters office in McKinney, taking the total company employee count to more than 420.

“We are committed to increasing economic development in McKinney, and we are thrilled to assist Ag-Power in their needs for expansion,” said McKinney Mayor Brian Loughmiller in a city release. “Ag-Power has been an exceptional business partner in our community and plays an important role in McKinney’s economy. McKinney Economic Development Corporation is able to assist Ag-Power expand and continue to grow in our community.”

Founded in 1972, Ag-Power sells agriculture products and new and pre-owned equipment to consumers in Texas and surrounding states. Nationally, Ag-Power is one of the largest volume John Deere suppliers with 17 locations in Arkansas, Texas and Missouri. The expansion at Ag-Power’s headquarters in McKinney will add 40 jobs to their existing 101 employees.
