According to the Watertown Daily Times, Cazenovia Equipment Co., a John Deere dealer, will close its locations in Watertown and Sandy Creek, N.Y., to consolidate them into a 25,000 square foot retail and service center. With this consolidation of two stores, Cazenovia Equipment will now have 8 locations.

“We have experienced significant growth in the past 10 years and have outgrown our existing local facilities,” said Cazenovia Equipment President Jim Frazee in a statement. “The new building will offer increased capacity for in-house and mobile service for our agricultural, commercial and residential customers, as well as expanding our parts and sales inventories.”

The new facility will allow workers to repair larger equipment in an 80 foot wide and 30 foot tall space and feature a showroom for products, outdoor displays, an equipment storage yard and up to 40 parking spaces for customers and employees.

The new center will be located in the Thousand Islands International Agribusiness Park in Watertown. Cazenovia Equipment is a New York based dealer and carries lines such as Ariens, Kuhn and Unverferth in addition to Deere.
