Titan International, Inc., a leading global manufacturer of off-highway wheels, tires, assemblies, and undercarriage products, today reported results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2022.
According to a June 17 report from Morningstar, Titan International has entered a "global long-term agreement" to supply John Deere with wheels and tires.
"We were able to pick up right where we left off in 2021 with another stellar quarter to begin the year," stated Paul Reitz, president and chief executive officer.
Titan International has entered into a definitive agreement for the sale of its Australian wheel business, to OTR Tyres, a local leading national tire, wheel and service provider. The closing date is expected to be Thursday, March 31, 2022.
Titan International, Inc. and CNH Industrial N.V. have entered into a three-year agreement to supply farm wheels and tires manufactured in Titan's North America, South America and European plants to various CNH Industrial manufacturing locations.
"Our fourth quarter was a continuation of our strong performance throughout the year and adds up to an excellent 2021 as we increased sales by an astounding $521 million," commented Paul Reitz, president and chief executive officer.
Titan International, Inc. and Kubota Tractor Corp./Kubota Canada Ltd. have entered into an exclusivity agreement on select sizes of Titan’s new Trac Loader II tires for compact and utility tractor models used in residential, commercial, agricultural and light construction applications.
Titan International has announced Titan employees represented by the United Steelworkers have voted to ratify new three-year contracts applicable to Titan's operations located in Bryan, Ohio, (Local 890), Freeport, Ill., (Local 745) and Des Moines, Iowa (Local 164).
A Jan. 4 article from Tyrepress reported Trelleborg Wheels Systems' parent company Trelleborg AB as saying, “external parties have shown interest to acquire Trelleborg’s business area Trelleborg Wheel Systems."
