SUMNER, Wash. — Washington Tractor has announced the grand opening of its new dealership location in Sumner, Wash. The new location houses a Washington Tractor dealership, service center, and serves as the new corporate headquarters.

"Washington Tractor has grown significantly over the past few years. With this growth, we've focused on maintaining efficiencies and remaining focused on our customers. This new Sumner location allows us to do just that. By consolidating our corporate headquarters under the same roof as our newest location and service center, we're better able to serve our customers and dealership locations throughout the state. This new location also offers better visibility, an enhanced showroom, and an expanded shop which will allow us to service more equipment in less time," explained Jim Hale, CEO of Washington Tractor.

Washington Tractor was established in November 2010 when three, family-owned and operated John Deere Dealers became one. Liberty Farm and Lawn, North Washington Implement and Barnett Implement merged together to become a seven-store operation with locations in Quincy, Ellensburg, Lynden, Sumner, Okanogan, Olympia, Chehalis and Aberdeen.

In September of 2011, Washington Tractor opened its eighth location in Poulsbo. Then, in November of 2012, the company merged with Hamilton Farm equipment of Okanogan. In October of 2013, Washington Tractor acquired three more locations in Mount Vernon, Snohomish, and Yakima. With five families now in ownership, the entire team has worked hard to preserve the single store identities and strong customer relationships.
