Production of tires for agricultural equipment has got underway at a new $64 million plant in India for BKT off-highway products.
Set on a 22-acre site, the new facility has potential capacity for up to 33,000 tons a year with around 500 employees and is the latest investment by Mumbai-based Balkrishna Industries as it strives for further growth.
