After 30 years with Deere, including 21 as its chief spokesman, Ken Golden is retiring, according to a Feb. 25 report in the Quad-City Times. His last day is Feb. 28.

In his role, Golden has been the main media contact for Deere & Co. for the past decade. Editors for Ag Equipment Intelligence and Farm Equipment have relied on Golden to confirm and clarify information and stories involving Deere business and products over the years. His responsiveness was always appreciated.

According to the report, Golden will be replaced as spokesperson by Jen Hartmann, associate director of strategic publications
