An increase in off-highway tire sales and a stronger gain in profitability helped Yokohama Rubber post record earnings in the group’s financial year to the end of December 2019.
The ATG (Alliance Tire Group) ag, construction and forestry off-highway segment secured revenues of 70.7 billion yen ($637 million), which at 2.9% is a slower rate of progress than the 2018 figure of more than 8% and short of projections.
