More 1,750 mostly private investors have put their faith (and cash) in the future of agricultural robotics technology by subscribing £2.1 million ($2.7 million) to a crowd funding campaign.
The amount raised via Crowdcube is three times the size of Small Robot Company’s £700,000 ($908,000) target, with venture capitalist firm 7percent Ventures, formed by experienced tech start-up founders turned investors, contributing the largest part at £200,000 ($259,000).
