According to a report from KCCI, John Deere Dubuque Works in Dubuque, Iowa has announced 105 layoffs effective April 6. Deere focuses on manufacturing forestry and construction equipment in Dubuque.

Public Relations Manager, Dan Bernick, stated that "each factory is based on customer demand for the products and the size of the workforce and that no other John Deere's location is impacted at this time."

Deere also announced more layoffs at its Davenport Works plant in December, furloughing 57 employees.
