Kleine Equipment has agreed to sell its assets to Martin Sullivan.

The sale is effective January 1 and was announced today.

In a release to customers, current owner of Kleine Equipment Mark Kleine stated, "Their history ensures that you will continue to experience the level of support and service you have come to expect.

"The new company is looking forward to earning your respect by providing the solutions you need to run your business."

Kleine Equipment was established in 1994, and deals John Deere equipment in six locations throughout West Central Illinois.

According to the company website, there are 100 employees at Kleine Equipment.

Martin Sullivan, which has a long-standing history with Martin Brothers, was founded in 1926 in Roanoke, and has since added six locations that are spread throughout western and central Illinois.
