“The recovery in corn prices from the early September lows took a step back with the October World Agricultural Supply Demand Estimate report that once more showed higher than expected corn production and yield,” said Mircea (Mig) Dobre, analyst for RW Baird, in a note. “In our view, the risks to the harvest are rising and we think corn prices remain upward biased. Higher corn prices would be positive for machinery demand into 2020.”
