North American large ag retail sales increased 5% year-over-year following a 9% decline in October, according to the latest Assn. of Equipment Manufacturers report. November’s strong showing was driven by a 30% increase in 4WD tractors, with 2WD row-crop tractors and combines both flattish, said Baird analyst Mircea (Mig) Dobre in a note to investors. U.S. large ag sales increased 11% for the month, which were partially offset by a 9% decrease in Canada.
